Govt will bring out vision document on education: Kamat

PANAJI- The Chief Minister, Mr  Digambar Kamat has highlighted the importance of education and said that Goa government will bring out a vision document on education for Goa within  next two to three months.
The Chief Minister was speaking as chief guest at the annual day celebration of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in the city recently.
Speaking further, Mr Kamat said, the government has already constituted Education Advisory Committee to guide the government in educational sector and prepare a document.
The Chief Minister said, “Goa was on the forefront in education till recently until Mizoram surpassed the state.”  He said central government has given thrust on health and education in the Eleventh Five Year Plan.  No society can progress without education he said and expressed satisfaction over the achievements of Don Bosco School in education, sports and extra curricular activities. The Chief Minister gave away the prizes to the students.
