CRC Chinchinim ahead

PANAJI- CRC Chinchinim defeated Curtorim Gymkhana 5-3 via the tie-breaker to enter the quarter-finals of 9th all Goa inter-village football tournament, organized by YWSC Assolna at Assolna grounds, on Thursday.After a goalless first session, Franky Martins put Curtorim ahead while Ryan Fernandes equalized for CRCC in the dying minutes of the match. At the end of regulation time the scores were tied at 1-1.
In the resulting tie-breaker, Chinchinim boys kept their cool and scored through Jitender Bhise, Ryan Fernandes, Siddarth Kamat and Piedadi Rebello. For Curtorim, Savio Fernandes and Franky Martins were on target while Valzino and Minguel Hilario missed the mark.
