BSNL introduces WIMAX in Goa

PANAJI - Indian state-owned operator BSNL and Wimax equipment provider Soma Networks have commercially launched the BSNL Wireless Broadband services in Goa. The services are available in Panaji, Margao, Vasco, Calangute, Pilerna, Mapusa, Verna and other industrial estates. It will soon be available in Ponda and other places in Goa.
The charges start from Rs 1000 for home plan and Rs 4400 for business plans. Business plans will be provided with Static IP’s. Delta Technologies has been appointed as the marketing agent to solicit retail residential, and small business and commercial subscribers for these services.
The forms and the demonstration of the wireless broadband services can be made available by contacting Delta Technologies at Margao, Panaji and Ponda or their representatives.
