Rasna Fruitplus receives Super Taste Award 2008

PANAJI- Rasna, the beverage brand, has received the Super Taste Award 2008 by the International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi), Belgium, in Mumbai for its Rasna Fruit Plus, a fruit drink concentrate.
This award was presented by Mr Subhodh Kant Sahai – Minister of State for Food Processing Industries in the presence of Mr Christian De Bouw, president, iTQi, Belgium, and Dasturji (Dr) Firoze M Kotwal (High Priest, Mumbai). Fruitplus was awarded Super Taste Award 2008 for global leadership in sensory analysis.
The International Taste and Quality Institute, Belgium, is an independent Chef- and Sommelier- based organisation dedicated to judging, honouring and promoting superior tasting food and drinks from around the world. For its juries, iTQi works in close partnership with 12 prestigious European culinary institutions and the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale (ASI).
“This award is a reflection of the fact that today Indian companies can compete and succeed in the global market. This is a matter of distinction and pride for all Indians that Indian company’s product has been chosen for this award by an European institute,” said Mr Piruz Khambatta, chairman and managing director, Rasna Private Limited.
