A festival of Carols

Kala Academy Goa organized the ‘Festival of Carols’ and invited groups to participate and spread the cheer of Christmas on the December 12 at the Open Air Auditorium at 6.30 pm.
The Festive Season with the message of love and peace and the voices of carolers echoing the streets, heralds the Christmas Season with much joy in our hearts.
The Carol Groups that came to participate were seen with Christmas caps and colours of red and green spreading the magic of Christmas. In all ten groups participated, Jericos from Tonca, Smiles from Tonca, Burning Flames of Carmona, Vidya Vikas Akademy Choir from Comba Margao, Snow Flakes from Porvorim, Jesuit – Loukik Sallkam from Porvorim, Stars of Merces, Creams of Merces, Divine Voices of Merces and Twinkling Stars of Merces participated. The groups were accompanied by
musicians. The stage was beautifully decorated with a Pine Christmas Tree and Stars in different colours which was a beautiful setting for the carolers to sing and chant their favourite Christmas carols. Present on the occasion was Dr Pandurang Phaldessai and other guests.
