KOLKATA- Mohammedan Sporting is yet to hurl a surprise and with their next opponent being Dempo it seems a far-fetched dream. Their only memorable performance in this edition’s league has been the victory against Mahindra United and apart from that they have struggled to pocket three points.
It's not just their form that is a cause of concern for the Kolkata outfit coach Shabbir Ali but adding to their miseries is the injury to key players Mike Okoro and Theodore Sunday.
Being their main strike force both of them have failed to live upto their expectations. Okoro has been impressive in one game but Sunday is yet to get his Sunday kicked off.
As far as defending champions Dempo are concerned they have got back to their winning ways and the 4-0 result against Chirag was an example of it. Beating the Kolkata outfit won’t be a much of a problem for the Goan outfit as they play in a similar fashion as Chirag.
Their striker Ranti Martins has scored four in the season and their midfield Beto and Climax has never allowed the opposition to take control of the game and with such a combination there seems to be no stopping Dempo.
