'The Leela Kempinski' holds medical camp

PANAJI- The Leela Kempinski, Goa organised a medical camp at its premises with the support of ESI Hospital Margao, Apollo Victor Hospital, Margao, primary health centre Chinchinim and CIPLA on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, for the hotel staff and their families as well as senior citizens and the children of the surrounding areas of Cavelossim, Carmona, Orlim, Assolna and Chinchinim.
The facilities included medical specialists, gynecologist, surgical specialist, orthopedic, geriatrics, gastroenterologist, cosmetic-plastic, dentist, eye specialist, child specialist, and ENT specialist. The lab facilities that were provided included diabetic check and malaria, dispensary, ultrasound and ECG facility. Doctors from the ESI Hospital and Apollo Victor Super Specialty Hospital assisted by nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists, attendants, and assistants from both the hospitals and nurses from Chinchinim health centre were present. A total of 400 patients benefited from the camp.
The general manager, Mr Pascal Dupuis declared the camp open by cutting the ribbon while Ms Dupuis lit the traditional lamp. In his address, the head human resources, Mr Adrian D’souza reiterated the chairman Captain Krishnan Nair’s commitment to be of service to the community where ‘The Leela Hotels’ operate.
